With the generosity and devotion of so many friends like you, the Foundation has made truly extraordinary strides to eradicate hundreds of orphan diseases in our children and to develop treatments and a cure for Batten Disease. In three short years, the Foundation has developed the most comprehensive carrier-screening test for over 600 devastating genetic diseases that affect thousands of children every year. There is, quite literally, nothing like this test available on the market and it has made international headlines as a scientific and medical breakthrough.
